The Illinois Small Business Development Center at the Sauk Valley Community College has been reestablished in 2017 as part of the statewide Illinois SBDC network with support from Sauk Valley Area counties, cities, banks, and community organizations through a cooperative agreement and grant funding from the Small Business Administration and Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.


The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Sauk Valley Community College offers no-cost advising to individuals and businesses who are seeking professional guidance in the field of business feasibility, business start-up, business growth, and business exit planning.


In addition to professional advising, the Illinois SBDC at Sauk Valley Community College offers professional training and workshops are designed and delivered by subject matter experts in the Sauk Valley! Workshop topics range from those relevant to startups to those needed by experienced business professionals.  If you do not see the topic that you need, please contact us.  We are eager to receive your guidance so that we can deliver topics that are needed and highly relevant to small businesses in our region.
