Pamela Clodfelter

Illinois SBDC Advisor

Pam Clodfelter is a Business Advisor with the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Sauk Valley Community College.  She has extensive small business experience working in the insurance, education and agricultural industries.

Inspired by her parents, a grain/livestock farmer and insurance agent, she developed a passion for helping others safeguard their livelihoods.  As an insurance agent, she helped families protect themselves from potential hazards.  In education, Pam guided individuals on the educational paths needed to obtain their goals.  All the while, she works with her husband to run his commodity and consulting businesses and farming operation. Throughout, she has gained extensive knowledge and experience in developing and writing business disaster, cybersecurity and continuation plans.

Pam obtained her Bachelor’s in Agricultural Communications and Master’s in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois. In every community in which she has resided, she has been an active member in service and development with organizations such as the School Board, United Way, and Rotary.  Currently, she volunteers as the Risk Manager for the 4-H House Alumni Association at the University of Illinois.

Her experience is a natural progression for Pam to be a member of the Illinois SBDC team. She looks forward to providing a high level of service and assistance to clients seeking to fulfill their own small business goals.
