What you can expect from us:

Professional consulting services provided at no cost to you.

Privacy regarding information shared with the Small Business Development Center at Sauk Valley Community College: No information provided by you will be used to the commercial or other advantage of any staff member, consultant, or other resources of the IL-SBDC or to the advantage of any third party.

Confidentiality of your client status with the IL-SBDC: no public use of your name, address or business identity will be made without your express prior approval.

No-cost fees for training programs, special services, and publications.
What we expect from you:

Submit a Pre-Counseling Questionnaire and the Request for Counseling form prior to your first appointment.

Prepare for meetings by bringing materials and providing request financial and business data that will assist the IL-SDBC consultants in serving your needs.

Punctual attendance to all scheduled appointments, or give 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Complete periodic session evaluations. After your first session, you will receive a confidential evaluation and feedback form via email from Sauk Valley Community College administration. You will also once or twice a year receive a feedback form from America's SBDC. Each of these feedback requests allows you to provide confidential feedback to your IL-SBDC and its staff. The purpose of these forms is to document progress and provide the critical feedback needed for continuous improvement.

Share your success, milestones, and other key business accomplishments via an economic impact form. Submitting a brief report on your successes is critical to the long-term sustainability of your IL-SBDC. Your lead consultant will occasionally request and walk you an "economic impact form" which will only take a few seconds to sign and submit.
Your acceptance of management and technical assistance from your IL-SBDC means that you agree to waive all claims against IL-SBDC at Sauk Valley Community College and its staff or any other resources employed by or used in connection with these services. The IL-SBDC reserves the right to discontinue providing services to clients who cannot fulfill the expectations outlined above.
